We would like to fill the following vacancy as soon as possible: (Associate) Director (gn) Business Development & Licensing Your Responsibilities: Manage all steps of licensing programs, targets and technologies (in & out) at various stages: Identification of potential partners in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry Positioning and pitching of assets Management of the partnering process with external and internal stakeholders Negotiation of complex term sheets and contracts Make significant contribution to identifying value / revenue generating opportunities and to strategic and conceptual discussions Ensure effective reporting of partnering opportunities, including current status, open questions and upcoming decisions, within the BD team and cross-functionally to other internal stakeholders Represent MorphoSys at conferences, partnering events and road shows Requirements: University degree in life sciences (ideally PhD), medicine or business administration is a must; MBA or other further business qualifications are a plus Several years of work experience gained in Business Development in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector Experience in working across multiple functional areas within a pharmaceutical or biotech organization Experience in licensing contract negotiations is a must Already established network in the Biotech and Pharma partnering business is a plus Strong negotiation, communication and presentation competencies in English (German is a plus) Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a highly organized manner as well as strong team player capabilities Proven strategic approach to solving problems Business acumen and an understanding how to create value Willingness and flexibility to travel We offer: Creative working in X-functional teams Open and appreciative corporate culture Multicultural environment Working in an attractive, high-quality equipped building with restaurant Free sports and language courses Thank you for your interest!
