We are looking for an experienced
Customer Service Representative (f/m)
to provide excellent service towards customers and internal within the organization. The Customer Service Representative is active in the Customer Service Department. This department is charged with all administrative tasks related to the stocking, storing and issuing of goods and having goods transported. The goal is to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to meet their expectations. The Customer Service Representative hierarchically comes under the head of the department (Branch Manager). The tasks of Customer Service Representative do not include managerial tasks.
Job targets and responsibilities
Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
Follow service procedures, policies and standards
Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
Administrative processing of shipments.
Checks whether a file is complete, takes action (internally/externally) in case of incompleteness in order to complete the file;
Enters shipment data and, insofar as applicable, records transport agreements made by telephone, fax, e-mail or otherwise in the system on the basis of the information provided;
Responsible for the dispatch of (transport) documents;
Provides information to internal and external interested parties, such as shipment and transport instructions and pre-alerts and information required by customers;
If applicable, coordinates the order of performing the activities together with his direct supervisor;
Performs other administrative duties;
Files away the files.
In order to qualify for this versatile and challenging position, required are at least the following criteria:
Proven working experience in providing customer service support
Experienced in international logistics
Accuracy required for a correct administrative processing
Proficiency in German and English
Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools
Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Able to set priorities with regard to his duties.
